Just go away, we're too boring to bother.

To whom ever is trying to take over my world. Piss off, its a boring world and you don't want it. I haven't downloaded any illegal music so that nice little email can just take a running jump too. I don't download anything. Hello? New computer here..I'm so worried I might "screw it up" somehow that I barely go on my favourite sites. And those aren't many. And thanks Google for the demand to change my password. How about a comment box soI can ask what theheck is up? or even an acutal reason as opposed to "We've disabled your account." Gosh thanks.

And this random dizziness can go suck an egg too.

I finished the stole I was working on and have started another. So far, it amuses me.

The girls and I went sliding today. Or rather they did. The hills in the school yard behind our house are now so slick no sled is required to shoot down them a mom-worrying speed. So after the Kindies get out there is a party on the hills.

Naturally there are tears. Both of them from my kids. The littlest princess claimed she bonked her head while sliding. I admit I missed the actual bonking. The kids tend to slide in bunches, so a boot to the head is not unusual.

Drama Queen managed to fall walking up the stairs. Nothing serious, she just gave her knee a good thump. I asked if she wanted to go home and got a snifly, teary, "nooo." Again, she's fine. But my kids are not having much luck on the hills this year.

I'm embroidering. And its looking pretty good. But it's slow going. Then again I'd likely go faster if I didn't pretend to not see it day after day. Often it calls to me but as a mom, I'm good at tuning out repetitive voices.

It all started with a banner. One I made last Christmas for the church I attend. The minster asked for it, I made it, all was well. I was not entirely happy with the banner but everyone else seemed to be so I let it go.

Last spring I got a call from a woman about to be ordained. She asked me to make her 2 stoles in the space of one month. One for her and a friend. Someone had given her my name based on the banner. I told her I'd do it. That fell through, turned out she was given 4 stoles so didn't need anymore. No biggie.

Minister who knows I'm trying to find work to do from home so I can SAHM told me to make the stoles anyway and he'd help get my name out as someone who does this sort of work. I can embroider, and quite well too. So started in, gave up, started again, gave up again....this went on for a while but I am now the the point where I can see the finish. I hope to be done by Friday? Maybe? Its possible now anyway.

New year, new shamelessly ripped off moto.

Wait..I'm going to get the book so I write the quote properly.

Ok, I'm back.

You can take your pick here. Either the book version,

"I might find somewehre I can finish my book. I have thought of a nice ending for it -and he lived happily ever after to the end of his days."

Or the movie version.

"I've thought of an ending for my book. -And he lived happily ever after to the end of his days."

Ok, Happily ever after might be shooting for a bit much in a New Year's resolution but why the heck not? It sounds like a pretty darn good option to me. And I know its not going to work ever single day, I'll be happy with say....98% of the time. Happy mom makes for happy kids right? Because I'd be working on helping them to be happy and fulfilled. At least, if my girls are happy then I will be. Circle see? And you know, if the Crypt Keeper is in a good mood then I guess we'd just be a big disgusting bundle of good times.

So. This means reigning in the impatience a bit. Or alot. Which given The Drama Princess's antics will require a ton of will power. I may not have any left for working out or any of those usual resolutions.

Other resolutions. A family vacation would be nice. We haven't done one of those. Finding Crypt Keeper's buddies and reconnecting face to face would be grand too. We know where they are, mostly, sort of anyway. It would be nice to see them...even if singing is involved.
